We answer six days a week and give you a straight answer about what we can do. Most calls are fixed on the shoulder without a tow.
The difference between a bad day and a very bad one is whether the person who arrives is competent and carrying the right parts. We run mobile service units across the Baltimore metro area Monday to Saturday, 6:00am to 4:00pm, and the phone is answered by someone who understands what you are describing and asks the questions that determine which truck to send and what goes on it.
Service units carry diagnostic laptops with manufacturer software, air tooling, welding capability, common tires, batteries, belts, hoses, filters and air system components. That inventory is why most calls end with the truck driving away rather than being loaded onto a wrecker. Units are equipped with amber warning lighting and scene safety equipment for work on live shoulders.

Mobile roadside, six days a week
Covering Baltimore City and 29 surrounding communities, out to roughly 30 miles from the shop on Ponca Street.

If you recognise any of these, it is worth a call before it becomes a roadside call.
Truck has broken down on the shoulder or in a rest area
Blown tire, loaded or empty, anywhere in the metro area
Will not start, no crank, or dead batteries
Out of fuel or out of DEF
Air loss and the truck will not release its brakes
DPF derate that has dropped you to a crawl
Overheating and you have had to shut down
Locked out of the cab
The sequence matters as much as the repair. Working through it in this order is what stops you paying for parts the fault never pointed at.
Dispatch takes your exact location, unit details, the symptom and whether you are loaded. Those four things decide which truck and which parts we send.
You get a window based on where our units actually are, along with a call back if anything changes. Underpromising an hour and showing up in three helps nobody.
Amber lighting, cones and correct positioning first. Baltimore shoulders are tight and fast and the setup is not optional.
The majority of roadside calls are completed in place. If the repair cannot be done safely on the shoulder, we tell you what it needs and arrange the tow.
You get an invoice with what was found and what was done, and we follow up on anything that needs shop attention afterwards.
Faults rarely sit in one system. These are the ones that most often come up alongside this work.

Send the unit details and the symptom and dispatch will come back to you. If the truck is off the road right now, call instead.
A form is fine for scheduling. For a truck that is stopped, a call gets a unit moving while you are still describing the problem.

Yes. Dispatch is answered Monday to Saturday, 6:00am to 4:00pm. Nights and weekends are when a large share of our roadside work happens.
We cover roughly 30 miles around the shop on Ponca Street. The city, the port and the inner Beltway ring are the shortest runs; Annapolis, Columbia, Aberdeen and Laurel are the longest. Traffic, weather and time of day move all of it, which is exactly why we do not publish a number.
A service call fee plus labour and any parts. Dispatch quotes the call out fee and the labour rate before we roll, so there is no surprise on the invoice. Night and holiday rates, where they apply, are stated up front.
We tell you straight away rather than billing hours on the shoulder. We can arrange heavy duty towing to our Baltimore shop or to a facility of your choice, and coordinate the repair from there.
Yes, with proper scene safety setup. On some stretches of I-95 and I-695 the shoulder is too exposed to work safely, and in those cases the right answer is a tow to a safe location. We will tell you if that is the situation.
Yes. We deliver DEF as well as diesel. If the truck has already derated for low DEF, we can usually get it topped up and running again on site.
Yes. We work with fleet purchase orders and national account billing arrangements. Tell dispatch when you call and we will set it up on the ticket.
